Hello Russ,
Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Until I walked up to Skip in the parking lot of Panera Bread where I saw his car I had never met Skip. I really enjoyed not only seeing his handy work (the ‘59 Ford) but his family as well.
Hello Erin,
Your comments made me wonder if, like our family you grew up with your Dad’s love of cars? In our case my wife used to drag the children to all the cars shows I used to work as a pinstriper. I traveled all over but they would often come out half way or near the end of the long weekend so we could all be together.
Recognition is good and satisfying and in your dad’s case most deserved as his car looked beautiful. But being remembered by your children is probably all He really needs. I know it’s that way with me.
Thanks,
Bernard
