A Good Ol’ Brown Beating!

Well, if you ever wanted to get the bad taste outta your mouth from a bad game ( last week in Nashville ) nothing quites does the trick like a good old fashioned beating of the Cleveland Browns.

Like Cowher, coach Tomlin is pretty good at beating them…in fact he is now 4-0 against them.

Rumor has it that he just may have to beat Cowher as well the next time he faces the Browns!

Altough, on a sad note Big Ben was knocked out of the game, near the end of the seconf quarter with a mild concussion. Latest reports have him being ready for the first playoff game in two weeks.

A Wonderful Christmas

I’m trusting everyone had a great Christmas weekend?

Sure was nice to have four straight days off work ( my day job ) to enjoy family, friends and neighbors during the Holiday weekend.

I was especially blessed as my 15 month old Grandson came in from Columbus to bless his "Pappy" ( that’s me ) by spending Christmas with us and I loved every minute of it!

While I’m not sure how I got to be fifty years old so fast…I gotta tell you that being a grandpap and seeing my children launch out into their own careers, homes and families brings so much peace and joy to my soul.

These are, without a doubt, the best years of my life right now and I can only see them getting better. Besides as an overgrown kid myself ( so I am often told ) what could be better than some grandchildren to connect with?

I know, I know…everybody has their own families and grandchildren to enjoy this Holiday but like them, I just think mine are the shizzle!

The Tennessee Waltz

Alright, I know I’m a die-hard Steeler fan but I’m also trying to be journalistically correct with my artwork. So LenDale White of the Tennessee Titans get’s my nod for the most noteworthy action in the NFL yesterday.

Stomping on the "Terrible Towel" after yesterday’s 31-14 drubbing of my beloved Pittsburgh Steelers.

Having said that…I would like to see the Steelers return the favor yet this year by giving Mr. White the opportunity to taste-test the same towel after the AFC Championship title game?
