When hired by a new business getting started or an existing one just looking to remodel their image, I always like to start with a really cool business card layout. For one, these days, you can get full-color business cards relativley cheap and it IS still oftentimes the "First Impression" your customer’s may have of your business and should NOT be overlooked. |

Besides some "trademark" logo style of lettering for the name I always like to augment the card/design with an eye catcher of some sort. This customer has a really cool, old 1947 Studebaker Pickup Truck under restoration as their future shop truck, so I thought I work it into the mix just to make them unique and help seperate their card from the rest of the fold. |

A very talented airbrush artist and a close personal friend of not only myself but our whole family recently honored me by asking my wife and I to produce a logo and possibly a trademark for his "Freehand-Airbrush" business. We would need to design, create and produce some graphics for a Logo, Website, Business Cards and more recently a new Step Van he had just purchased for his road shows and off site locations. |
Mostly because while he had been painting professionally for over 30 years and has had a few logo looks, he had never really found the time to sit down and pull it all together.
Starting with a logo and carrying that through all the different types of media for a customer’s total image is something I love to do and one of the main reasons why we got into marketing in the first place. The other being that the sign business as a whole has turned almost completely away from hand-painting and become almost entirely dependant on the digital production process.

So, after much reservation we and Arbie submitted to the times for this project and went digital. Because it’s like Popeye used to say, "Ifsk yaz can’t beats ‘em, Joins ‘em" ! Ugga, Ugh, Ug (smile)
